“Fake It Till You Make It”
After years of channeling her feelings into art, Ingrid Enache decided to face them and started going to therapy. As a challenge of practicing self love, she designs herself an alter-ego: Miss Worldwide. A character built with irony, chaos and mystery, she is an exaggerated image of Ingrid’s dreams and desires. In Post-Grid Issue 01, Miss Worldwide becomes the cover star of a magazine, observed through the lens of fame and fandom. By blurring the lines between reality and fantasy, Post-Grid Issue 01 questions the world’s obsession with the self, and whether the key to success is self love or narcissism.
